The Francesca Harper Project

Investing in People

The Francesca Harper Project (FHP) is a home for dance, film, immersive performance, and artistic collaboration. Founded by choreographer, director, and performer Francesca Harper, FHP brings artists and communities together to explore identity, freedom, memory, and our shared humanity.

Our work begins with people—their stories, their individuality, and their capacity to imagine change. From the stage to the screen, from intimate gatherings to immersive environments, we create experiences that invite connection and open new possibilities for how art can move us.

FHP Next

The New Generation’s Dance Company

FHP Next carries this vision forward through a multidisciplinary company format that connects dance with film, music, visual art, and emerging technology. Drawing on Francesca’s experience as Artistic Director of Ailey II and her international career, FHP Next centers the development of a new generation of artists.

Performances, creative residencies, salons, and community programs offer spaces for artists to deepen their craft, develop their voices, and help shape the work they bring into the world. Francesca’s collaborations across choreography, filmmaking, immersive performance, and AR/VR provide the foundation for this evolving artistic model.

FHP Collective

A Community of Collaborators

FHP Collective brings together dancers, choreographers, filmmakers, musicians, designers, technologists, and cultural partners. It is a space for shared inquiry and experimentation, where distinct perspectives meet and artists build work across disciplines and generations.

Together, The Francesca Harper Project, FHP Next, and FHP Collective connect an established artistic practice with a growing community and a vision for the future. At the heart of it all is a commitment to investing in people—honoring the legacies that shaped us while creating room for what comes next.
